Romania is a full NATO member and ally since 29 March 2004 which represents the guarantee of security and external stability. As a NATO member, Romania was a partner to the allied forces during the Gulf War and has been active in peacekeeping operations in UNAVEM in Angola, IFOR/SFOR in Bosnia, in Albania, in Afghanistan, in Iraq, in Yugoslavia and in Kosovo.
Romania also is a member of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and the North Atlantic Cooperation Council (NACC), Bucharest Nine (B9) and 3SI/TSI.
Romania (as a member and in cooperation with NATO) has one of the most advanced ballistic missile defense systems, capable of shooting down the most advanced enemy missiles, airplanes, drones, nuclear missiles, etc. Romania is very relaxed about any potential threat. Romanian army is very strong, and also NATO presence (especially the USA army) in Romania is extremely strong, both in military personnel and the most advanced military equipment possible on land, air and sea. Besides that, Romanians are the best IT Security specialists worldwide, no chance to hack Romania or systems which are on Romanian territory. Romania is also very well prepared even for EMP attacks.
